This guide provides instructions about installing and configuring Oracle Database Client for Apple Mac OS X (Intel)(64-bit). Audience This guide is intended for anyone responsible for installing Oracle Database Client 18c. Additional platform-specific installation guides for Oracle Database, Oracle Real. Oracle Instant Client 12.1 for OS X was just released and is now available for free download from OTN for 32-bit and 64-bit applications. Update: the bundles were re-released 14 June 2016 with a connectivity fix. Instant Client provides libraries and tools for connecting to Oracle Database. Note: The range for static IP addresses in your NAT range is 172.16.113.3 to 172.16.113.127.IP addresses 172.16.113.128 and above are DCHP assigned addresses for VMWare Fusion 1.x, which was used for this article. VMWare Fusion, Version 2.x, uses 172.16.153.3 to 172.16.153.127 for static IP addresses and 172.16.153.128 and above. The following is the screen shot for a bridged. Pro*C Does Not Support C99 Headers
The Pro*C parser fails to recognize C99 headers on Apple Mac OS X El Captain, Apple Mac OS X Yosemite, and Apple Mac OS X Mavericks.
This issue has no workaround.
